When we visited Palm Springs in October the weather was still very nice and warm during the day and the sun was also strong. However, early in the morning and at night it was pretty chilly already. We could still use the unheated pool at the beginning of October, but you could tell the weather started to slowly get colder.
Therefore, if you are planning activities early in the morning or towards the evening in October bring some warmer clothes with you to Palm Springs.
What To Wear In Palm Springs In November?
In November the temperatures drop increasingly. Bringing only summer clothes to Palm Springs in November will leave you being cold in the desert oasis.
What To Wear In Palm Springs In December & January?
For the months of December in Palm Springs, leave your light summery clothes at home. It gets a lot colder than you may think. You’d be surprised how cold it can get in the desert, especially at night!
Bring jackets, long pants, and in general warmer clothes, but no need to dress for icy cold weather.
The same goes for the month of January in Palm Springs.
What To Wear In Palm Springs In February & March?
The temperatures in Palm Springs in February and March are comparable to the temperatures in November. March weather in Palm Springs is still cold but not as cold as the weather during the winter months anymore.

April and May are great months to spend in Palm Springs. The weather gets warmer and warmer and you can start using the pool again.
So pack your summery clothes, because now you can totally wear them in Palm Springs.
The weather in April and May is our favorite, as it is already warm enough without being scorching hot as the high summer months though.

When we visited Palm Springs in July it was insanely hot. We spend most of the day by the pool or actually IN the pool.
So definitely do not forget your swimwear and floaties when visiting Palm Springs in summer.
