If you are looking for hip and cool hotels in Scottsdale or Phoenix The Saguaro Scottsdale is the place to be.

With its super colorful design and large inviting pool area, the Saguaro Hotel is my favorite hotel in Old Town Scottsdale.

I have stayed at this unique and cool Phoenix hotel several times, for work, for pleasure, and I even brought my parents once when we were road-tripping through Arizona and they loved it too.

The Saguaro Scottsdale and its sister hotel, the Saguaro Palm Springs, used to be owned by Joire de Vivre Hotel Group.

Since a few years ago Sydell Group took over, and both hotels, especially the rooms, got a slight makeover.

I have stayed at the Saguaro Scottsdale before and after the takeover and while I liked the Mexican and desert-inspired style before better than the sleeker style now, not much has actually changed. The hotel is still very colorful and my favorite hotel in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona.

Saguaro Pool Scottsdale

The Saguaro Hotel Scottsdale has two heated and chilled pools, Picante pool in the main area and Calma pool in a secluded tranquil area to relax.

Saguaro Pool Hours

Pool access is from 8 am – 10 pm.

Pool Passes

Pool passes for the Saguaro Scottsdale are available during the week from 6 am – 10 pm.

You can rent a cabana for a day or a beach bed. There are plenty of options.

The Saguaro Hotel Restaurant

La Señora Cantina – La Señora Patio – Señora Café

La Señora, formerly known as Distrito, serves modern Mexican dishes and margarita all day, every day.

The Saguaro Hotel Restaurant also has Taco Tuesday, with sweet deals on tacos and drinks and Happy Hour every Wednesday through Friday from 4-6 pm.
